Here at National Electronic Alloys, we offer Kovar Alloy (ASTM F15) and Alloy 42 in plate, sheet, coil, and rod forms to meet your needs. Kovar Alloy is compatible with thermal expansion characteristics and is thus used to forge direct mechanical connections. Some people overlook Alloy 42 because its thermal conductivity is not as high as the conductivity in copper-base alloys, however, Alloy 42 does have high reliability and superior mechanical properties.
