Nickel 600

Nickel 600

Nickel 600 is a member of the High Temperature Metals family. In corrosive environments, along with higher temperatures, Alloy 600 is the standard nonmagnetic material applied. When it experiences elevated temperatures, up to 2150 degrees Fahrenheit, this alloy can resist oxidation. This alloy possesses superb mechanical properties at elevated and cryogenic temperatures. When cold worked, Nickel 600 becomes stronger.

This durable alloy, works efficiently while experience oxidizing and reducing conditions. Alloy 600 can withstand most neutral and alkaline salt solutions, many acid salts, and different types of corrosion, including chloride stress cracking. Common applications of Nickel 600 include furnace muffles, electronic components, jet engine parts, springs, processing equipment, and bellows.
