HYMU 80 Shielding AlloysHymu 80 is an 80% nickel-iron-molybdenum alloy with extremely high initial and maximum permeability, very low coercive force and minimum hysteresis loss. This makes Hymu 80 specifically well-suited for magnetic shielding applications. Hymu 80 is primarily used to protect electrical components from stray magnetic shields. It is also used in transformer cores, tape wound toroids and laminations where compactness and weight factors are important. Don’t settle for inferior materials and too-good-to-be-true prices.
